About the Role

The Fund Controller will oversee day-to-day fund accounting operations, manage financial reporting in accordance with GAAP or applicable standards, collaborate with third-party administrators and auditors, and provide financial analysis and reporting to support investment decision-making and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day fund accounting operations, including maintenance of the general ledger, cash management, and reconciliation processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP or applicable accounting standards.
• Manage relationships and collaborate with third-party fund administrators.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of fund performance to stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Monitor fund expenses and ensure adherence to established budgets.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
