Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and investor reporting

Coda Search is recruiting for a global asset management seeking to hire a Fund Controller with offices in Stamford, CT. This is a rapidly growing real estate PE group with over $4BN AUM and has continued to grow year over year. The team is looking to hire a Fund Controller to oversee a portfolio of funds which would include preparing the monthly financial reporting package, NAV packages, reviewing the 3rd party administrator, and resolving any discrepancies with the investment team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and investor reporting packages
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast fund performance and project returns
• Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate potential acquisitions
• Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and meetings
• Manage fund cash flow, including capital calls, distributions, and liquidity management.
• Oversee the administration of fund accounts, bank relationships, and treasury operations.
• Ensure proper allocation of capital and efficient use of resources
• Provide financial analysis and insights to guide investment strategy and fund operations
• Review the 3rd party administrator and reconcile any discrepancies
• Lead the annual audit and work closely with the external auditors
