Coda Search is partnering with a leading NYC asset management firm to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its expanding finance team. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of funds while working closely with an outsourced fund administrator to ensure accurate reporting and fund operations.

The position will involve preparing valuation reports, analyzing fund activity, and supporting capital calls, distributions, and the annual audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of fund accounting experience.
• Prior experience within financial services, asset management, or private equity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for a portfolio of investment funds.
• Review and oversee work prepared by third-party fund administrators to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review fund valuation reports and analyze underlying fund activity.
• Support capital call and distribution processes for investors.

• Monitor fund activity and performance while ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
