Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with a global alternative investment manager to recruit a Fund Controller / Principal for its Private Equity Secondaries platform in NYC. This is a high-visibility leadership role with direct exposure to senior executives and a chance to help shape the firm's financial operations and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of fund accounting experience, with a focus on private equity secondaries or fund-of-funds.

Qualifications

We’re currently partnering with a leading global alternative investment manager looking for a Fund Controller / Principal to join its growing Private Equity Secondaries platform in NYC. They’re seeking a senior finance leader with 15+ years of experience and a strong background in private equity secondaries or fund-of-funds accounting.

This is a newly created, high-visibility leadership role within a growing platform, offering direct exposure to senior executives and the opportunity to help shape and scale the business's financial operations and infrastructure.

The role will consist of:

• Overseeing fund accounting, operations, and financial reporting across complex secondaries investment vehicles
• Building and enhancing scalable processes, controls, and operating infrastructure
• Partnering closely with senior leadership, investment teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Overseeing fund-level budgets, liquidity projections, and new product initiatives
• Driving automation, technology, and operational improvements
• Leading and mentoring junior team members
