Job summary

Juniper Square is seeking a Senior Director, Fund Administration to oversee accounting deliverables supporting our Fund Administration clients. This role reports to the General Manager, Fund Administration, and leads a team of accounting leaders across levels to shape the function's trajectory and deliver a best-in-class client experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of private equity fund accounting experience with a fund administrator handling fund-level accounting and reporting.
• 5+ years experience managing and coaching high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Deep understanding of complex accounting transactions, private equity investment structures, and fund reporting requirements.
• Solid knowledge of waterfall, performance metrics (IRRs), distributions, and capital calls.
• Comfortable with ambiguity within a hyper-growth startup environment.
• Passion for using technology to streamline business operations and improve user experience.
• Strategic thinker with ability to balance details and big picture.
• Excellent client service, verbal and written communication skills.
• IFRS experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end fund accounting function for a book of real estate private credit clients, including NAV calculations, financial statement prep, capital activity processing, and fee/carry calculations.
• Build and grow relationships with customers from sales to expansion opportunities to drive satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Provide hands-on solutioning for complex client problems; review and approve client-facing deliverables for high-quality results.
• Lead strategic projects and collaborate cross-functionally on automation, reporting, product functionality, and new service offerings.
• Act as subject-matter expert delivering comprehensive consulting to clients and internal teams.
• Serve as senior point of contact for client CFOs and finance teams; manage escalations and set expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement across workflows, controls, and documentation; partner with tech and product teams.
