Northern Trust is recruiting a Fund Accounting Training Consultant to deliver training solutions for the Fund Accounting function, focusing on design, delivery and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes collaboration with management, stakeholders and subject matter experts to shape curricula, programs and evaluations, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and drive performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in a Fund Accounting operations function.
• Three to five years of training consulting experience.
• Experience with ADDIE instructional design is preferred.
• Experience with Captivate, Articulate or Easy Generator is preferred.
• Strong instructional design and/or organizational development skills.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and reach decisions.

Responsibilities

• Understand desired business outcomes and translate them into learning objectives.
• Determine appropriate learning methodologies and organization development solutions.
• Develop project plans including identifying subject matter experts.
• Develop, facilitate and deliver learning and organization development programs.
• Maintain an inventory of training and organization development programs/tools and schedule their use.
• Evaluate training and organization development programs for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
• Serve as a key subject matter expert in program design and mentor junior staff.
• Handle all types of analysis.
• Represent the department in various meetings.
