Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Fund Accounting Training Consultant to design, deliver, and evaluate learning solutions for the Fund Accounting function. You will work with management, SMEs and stakeholders to define outcomes and develop curricula that scale across locations.

The role requires 3–5 years in Fund Accounting and strong communication, plus experience with ADDIE and tools like Captivate, Articulate, Power BI, Copilot and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in a Fund Accounting operations function.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience using ADDIE instructional design methodology.
• Experience with Captivate, Articulate or Easy Generator or similar is preferred.
• Strong instructional design and/or organizational development skills.
• Experience in training/curriculum development, plus Power BI, Copilot and Microsoft 365 tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate business outcomes into learning objectives and training programs.
• Design, develop and deliver fund accounting training curriculums.
• Coordinate curriculum delivery across geographic locations.
• Design and deliver training for existing systems and new rollouts.
• Ensure COO L&D interventions align with unit needs and collaborate with Global Training Teams.
• Mentor junior staff and represent the department in meetings.
