Job summary

Northern Trust seeks a Senior Training Consultant within the COO Learning & Development Team to translate business requirements into learning strategies and to lead collaborative efforts on curricula aligning with enterprise needs.

You will develop, implement, and oversee a range of learning solutions, delivering high‑visibility programs while coordinating with global partners and stakeholders. Strong Fund Accounting knowledge and project leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of operational experience in Fund Accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of complex fund structures and end-to-end Fund Accounting process.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff.
• Self-starter and team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into learning and development strategy for management levels.
• Develop and implement programs supporting individual and organizational performance.
• Design proactive communication plans for global audiences.
• Evaluate training solutions to identify improvements and maintain quality delivery.
• Identify new learning development tools and programs and recommend to management.
• Facilitate and conduct learning solutions; act as project manager for major initiatives.
• Stay updated on best practices and introduce them to the L&D team.
