Job summary

The Carlyle Group seeks a Manager, Fund Accounting Systems to lead Fund Accounting applications and drive automation across the department. You will serve as the bridge between end‑users and Global Technology Services, translating needs into actionable requirements for developers and QA teams.

In this role, you will advance Investran and Appian BPM initiatives, lead change management, and collaborate with Finance Process & Operations, Fund Accounting, and HCM leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or finance operations.
• Experience liaising between finance teams and technology teams.
• Proven ability to write business requirements and process docs for tech teams.
• Track record leading process improvement or technology initiatives in a finance environment.
• Experience in change management, including training and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with agile project management and tools such as JIRA.
• Background in private equity or fund accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functional Lead for Fund Accounting applications (Investran, Appian) and liaison with GTS.
• Drive finance process improvements and automation across Fund Accounting.
• Provide production support for Capital Accounts, ILPA reporting, and TaxPBC.
