Job summary

The Carlyle Group, a global investment firm, seeks a seasoned accounting/finance professional to join its Fund Management team in New York. The role covers fund accounting, investor reporting, and tax coordination, with a strong emphasis on governance and accuracy.

With 5–7 years of relevant experience and CPA/CFA preferred, you will manage close processes, interact with auditors and investors, and help ensure compliance across multiple entities within Carlyle's asset-backed finance platform.

Qualifications

• Concentration in Accounting and/or Finance preferred.
• CPA and/or CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fund closing processes and due diligence responses.
• Coordinate with investment team, legal/tax counsel, and middle office for closings.
• Assist with formation and documentation for new entities; coordinate tax documentation (W8, W9).
• Assist with diligence for newly admitted LPs and in meetings/requests.
• Monitor compliance with fund agreements and arrangements.
• Manage capital activity: calls, distributions, carry, fees.
• Review valuation models and quarterly reporting materials.
• Prepare quarterly investor updates and coordinate audits and disclosures.
