Job summary

Alter Domus, a global leader in alternative investment solutions, is seeking a junior accounting professional in New Jersey to support a Senior Officer in delivering accounting services for clients. You will assist with cash management, bookkeeping, and posting of financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS, while coordinating with tax advisors on compliance and planning.

Educated to GCSE/levels with progression towards professional qualification.

Responsibilities

Aiding a Senior Officer in the delivery of all accounting services to certain clients.
Conducting effective cash management and regular cash reconciliations.
Assisting with bookkeeping and reporting of companies, funds and fund structures.
Preparing client entities management accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS.
Assisting with audit queries and liaising with tax advisors for ongoing tax compliance.
Responding to client requests regarding tax planning in collaboration with external advisors.
