Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to lead a team of accountants and accounting specialists. You will oversee daily general ledger activities for mutual funds, NAV calculations, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring GAAP and SEC compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 5+ years of experience. You will partner with administrators, transfer agents, and custodians, and contribute to audits and projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (preferred) or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of experience in accounting or finance activities.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and ability to pick up new systems.
• CPA and management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of accountants, accounting specialists, and/or support staff responsible for accurate and timely processing of transactions, GL maintenance and reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles; resolve accounting issues and respond to internal/external inquiries.
