Job summary

U.S. Bank Global Fund Services is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to lead a team of accountants and support staff in maintaining mutual fund ledgers and producing NAV calculations.

The role involves budgeting, variance analysis, and ensuring GAAP compliance while partnering with internal/external administrators and custodians. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years of related experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of accounting/finance experience.
• CPA and management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and monthly variance analyses.
• Research and resolve various accounting issues.
• Ensure questions from both internal and external customers are researched and resolved in a timely manner.
• Participate in department and company projects and may lead smaller projects.
• Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds and produce end-of-day NAV calculations.
• Prepare daily general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and expense postings; analyze portfolio pricing.
