Stone Coast Fund Services is seeking a Fund Accountant to record and reconcile portfolio activity, compute NAVs, and allocate fees for hedge funds. You will prepare comprehensive investor reports and assist with audits, while maintaining strong internal controls and security standards.

The role offers flexible scheduling, with potential for full-time or Maine-based part-time options, and remote work flexibility for qualified states.

Competenze

• Three or more years of fund accounting experience, especially with hedge funds.
• Familiarity with hedge fund investments is a plus.
• Experience with portfolio and investor accounting systems, especially Advent Geneva World Investor, is a plus.
• Experience with internal control systems, procedures, workflows and control checklists is a plus.
• Experience with financial reporting, information security and risk management is a plus.
• Ability to learn complex concepts quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filtering).

Mansioni

• Record and reconcile portfolio and fund activity for assigned clients.
• Calculate the fund’s NAV adhering to industry standards and internal procedures.
• Allocate profit and loss to investors including management and performance fees.
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure timely wire requests.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to managers and investors.
• Prepare materials for board meetings, financial statements and audits.
• Communicate with internal/external entities to maintain service levels.
• Review NAV, investor statements for accuracy against standards.
• Mentor, train, and support fund accountants.
• Ensure fund accounting tasks are completed accurately and timely.
