SEI in the United States is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager within the Investment Manager Services Division to lead accounting operations for hedge funds and private equity funds, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will act as the primary client contact, manage a team, oversee month-end valuations, audits, and fund reporting, and collaborate with investment managers, transfer agents, and service teams to resolve issues and deliver high-quality accounting solutions.

Qualifications

• BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fund services industry, alternatives experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management experience.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the main contact for clients with offshore and domestic fund accounting and administration for alternative funds.
• Manage delegation of funds to your team and onboard new fund set ups; liaise between clients and internal teams to provide accurate accounting packages.
• Coordinate year-end audits in accordance with GAAP accounting standards and support audit engagements.
• Perform due-diligence to ensure clients are in compliance with government laws and regulations.
• Adhere to Anti-Money Laundering policies and review fund transactions accordingly.
• Ensure team compliance with department rules and regulations and accuracy of month-end reporting.
• Review and approve month-end valuations prior to distribution and authorize wire payments from fund escrow accounts.
• Engage with investment managers and transfer agents to resolve issues and plan servicing and reporting.
