Job summary

SEI Corporation seeks a Fund Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations for hedge fund and private equity clients within the Investment Manager Services Division. You will be the primary client contact, manage a team, and ensure accurate month-end valuations and GAAP reporting.

You will oversee onboarding, liaise with managers and service teams, and ensure AML and regulatory compliance while driving process improvements and staff development.

Qualifications

• BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fund services industry, alternatives experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management experience.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Act as main client contact and oversee offshore and domestic fund accounting for alternative funds.
• Manage fund team delegation, onboarding, and liaison with clients and internal teams.
• Oversee month-end valuations, audit coordination, and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Review transactions for AML compliance and authorise fund wire payments.
• Conduct performance appraisals, staffing decisions, and career development.
