Job summary

Ultimus Fund Solutions in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced accounting professional to oversee fund reporting and capital activities. You will manage quarterly financial statements to Limited Partners and supervise schedules supporting the general ledger, ensuring accurate waterfall calculations and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5+ years in accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and preferred MBA/MSA with CPA.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting or related field experience.
• 0–2+ years of supervisory experience in performance management and training.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; MBA/MSA preferred.
• CPA license strongly preferred; forecasting and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and distribution of quarterly financial statements to Limited Partners.
• Oversee schedules supporting general ledger balances in financial statements.
• Calculate and distribute capital call notices to Limited Partners.
• Interpret terms in the Limited Partnership Agreement.
• Calculate and review complex waterfall structures.
• Complete required regulatory forms for compliance.
• Calculate and distribute proceeds to Limited Partners.
• Communicate with General Partners and respond to requests promptly.
• Review investment packages to confirm securities are wired correctly.
• Calculate management fees for the Investment and Portfolio company.
• Interact with auditors and provide reports/support for audits.
• Complete audit confirmations for Limited Partners.
• Multi-task between tasks, client deliverables and internal demands.
• Provide supervision, guidance and coaching to the team with regular training.
