JCW Group is seeking a Fund Accountant to join a growing finance team. With 2–4 years of fund accounting experience, you will deepen expertise in venture capital fund operations within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

You will maintain ledgers, calculate investment transactions, assist with capital calls and distributions, and support audits. A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset is essential for success.

Formación

• 2–3 years of fund accounting experience in VC/PE or fund administrator
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Experience with closed-ended funds, capital calls and distributions
• Understanding of capital accounts and waterfall mechanics
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Proficient in fund accounting systems and Excel

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements for multiple venture funds
• Calculate and record investment transactions, capital calls, and distributions
• Prepare investor capital account statements and quarterly reporting packages
• Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors
• Reconcile portfolio company valuations and track fund-level performance metrics
• Collaborate with fund administrators and assist with management company accounting as needed
