Job summary

A financial services firm in Miami is seeking a proactive Fund Accountant to maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with financial standards. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of experience in fund accounting, with a strong grasp of GAAP principles. Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, plus additional compensation types.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in Fund Accounting or Fund Administration.
• Advanced understanding of Fair Value GAAP Accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger for multiple fund entities.
• Monitor and analyze trading costs to ensure compliance with stated fees.
• Calculate capital calls, distributions, and management fees.
• Book trades in the accounting system on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare and calculate Net Asset Value (NAV).
