Job summary

Stop & Shop is seeking a hands-on learning leader to partner with the business, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning experiences. You will lead a small team and drive functional training programs that improve customer service and operational skills across the organization.

The role emphasizes people leadership, learning expertise, and execution, with collaboration across Category Management, Merchandising, Operations, Safety, and HR.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in learning, functional training, talent development, instructional design, or related disciplines.
• Grocery retail experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects and manage programs.
• Strong collaborative and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Forms).

Responsibilities

• Assess business needs to build functional training roadmaps and priorities.
• Lead creation of consistent training programs and resources.
• Partner with leaders to align priorities and messages.
• Design and develop learning programs and workshops.
• Evaluate training impact with qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Supervise Learning Specialists and oversee program delivery.
