Job summary

Indiana University Health Medical Group Department of Neurological Surgery, in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine, seeks a Functional/Stereotactical Neurosurgeon to join our academic division in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The faculty position requires expertise in epilepsy surgery, depth electrodes, intrathecal pumps, and spinal cord stimulators, and involves direct clinical care, teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, plus research and pursuit of funding.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in neurosurgery.
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and expand functional and stereotactic neurological surgery program.
• Direct clinical care and teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Engage in the clinical operations of a multidisciplinary center; participate in academic research and funding efforts.
• Pursue research opportunities and secure future funding.
