Job summary

Indiana University Health Medical Group, in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine, seeks a Pediatric Epileptologist to join the Pediatric Neurology division in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The position focuses on epilepsy-specific clinical practice within a robust team at Riley Hospital for Children, including EEG interpretation, presurgical evaluation, and interdisciplinary education for residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in pediatric epilepsy or neurophysiology required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Neurology.
• Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide epilepsy-focused clinical care within the PEMU.
• Oversee the admitting APP designated service time.
• Interpret PEMU EEG, Neurotelemetry EEG and routine EEG studies.
• Participate in Epilepsy presurgical evaluation phases I and II.
• Interpret Stereo EEG and intraoperative electrocorticography.
• Contribute to on-call EEG coverage; limited general child neurology coverage.
• Potential for limited general inpatient consultation staffing.
