Job summary
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a fellowship‑trained Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgeon to join our growing academic program. Qualifications
- Must hold MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent).
- Board-certified or eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
- Fellowship training in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery.
- Ability to obtain NC medical license and be credentialed at UNC Health Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical care for epilepsy and movement disorders in collaboration with neurologists.
- Educate and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Contribute to research on mechanisms of neurological disorders and surgical techniques.
- Collaborate across UNC’s neuroscience, imaging, and engineering communities.
