Your tasks

Overall Responsibilities:

• Inspect, assess and test products for conformity assessment with international and national regulations, resulting in Certificates and/or Technical Reports for clients.
• Prepare reports and documentation of customer products to the appropriate standards.
• Support sales and marketing with expertise, including customer presentations.
• Generate test procedures.
• Communicate with customers and Product Safety Agencies such as UL, CSA, and VDE regarding Product Design Approaches for Safety.
• Maintain courteous and effective communication with internal and external customers, including providing quotes, answering questions, and relaying messages regarding standards and test procedures.
• Stay updated on current and future Product Safety requirements, test procedures, instrumentation, technology, and TUV America Engineering capabilities through training, seminars, and technical reading.
• Validate clients' requirements, which may involve site visits.
• Conduct site inspections, if necessary.
• Assist customers and staff during safety test programs.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
• Work within the controls of an ISO 17025 Quality System.

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

This is a fully remote position. It requires the ability to perform product setup and testing activities, including lifting and manipulating equipment up to 25kgs.
