Job summary

Brunswick School Department seeks a Functional Life Skills Ed. Tech to join Kate Furbish Elementary School for the 26-27 school year in Brunswick, Maine.

Candidates will collaborate with the team to support students’ academic, functional, and developmental needs, implement IEPs and behavior plans, and assist with transportation. The role may be in-person or virtual, and duties include small-group or 1:1 support.

Qualifications

• 2 Years of College or Equivalent Experience preferred
• Ed Tech Authorization through the Maine Department of Education
• Maine Criminal History Records Check

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with team members to manage students’ programs.
• Demonstrate creativity and flexibility to support students’ challenging behaviors.
• Support students in regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1.
• Implement students’ IEPs and behavior plans.
• Support students’ unique needs as appropriate; provide support on Special Education transportation.

Education
