Job summary

Pollet Pool Group is seeking a functional/IT business analyst who will act as the point of contact for IT-related functional and process enquiries across our companies, with a primary focus on the medical division. You will translate needs into automated solutions and oversee tasks and projects under your management.

You’ll gather requirements, draft functional analyses, conduct tests, help implement MS Dynamics 365 F&O, design documents, support go-live, and maintain CSVs.

Qualifications

• Five years of work experience in IT/analyst roles.
• Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Organised and analytical with ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from the business and document business processes.
• Draft functional analyses and technical designs.
• Design and conduct functional user tests.
• Assist with implementing and configuring MS Dynamics solutions.
• Assist with design of documents and reports.
• Support go-live, deliver workshops and provide post-go-live support.
• Write and maintain documentation and procedures for Computerised System Validation processes.
• Report to the application manager.

Job description

As a functional/IT business analyst, you and your colleagues will act as the point of contact for IT-related functional and process-related enquiries from the various companies and external clients. You will work across our various divisions, but with a primary focus on our medical division.

You will translate their needs into automated solutions and be responsible for the organisation, monitoring and implementation of the tasks and projects under your management.

In short, you’ll be the go-to person with a firm grasp of both business processes and their technical implementation.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Gathering requirements from the business and documenting business processes (in collaboration with the business process owners)
• Drafting functional analyses and technical designs
• Designing and conducting functional user tests
• Helping to implement and configure our Microsoft Dynamics solutions
• Assisting with the design of documents and reports
• Supporting our client organisations during go-live, delivering workshops and providing support and aftercare
• Writing and maintaining documentation and procedures as part of our Computerised System Validation processes
• Reporting to the application manager

Profile

• You have a strong passion for IT, processes and data
• You have around five years’ work experience, whether or not as an analyst
• You hold a master’s degree (or equivalent through experience)
• You’re not daunted by technical aspects, but you also enjoy delving into business processes
• Knowledge of MS D365 F&O is an advantage
• You are fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken); preferably, you also have a solid grounding in French
• You communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, from management to staff on the shop floor
• You are organised, analytical and able to set priorities
• You can work independently and have a strong sense of responsibility
• You hold a Category B driving licence
• You are willing to travel occasionally to companies both at home and abroad

Pollet Medical Group consists of 6 medical oriented companies. Together the group has about 2000 employees. Our IT department provides worldwide support to all companies of the Pollet Group. This includes also the implementation of the new ERP-software (MS Dynamics 365 F&SCM), a new CRM (MS Dynamics CRM), the set-up of mobile applications, specific customized software, etc. The Pollet IT team has a total of about 30 employees, operates from Bissegem and Waregem and joins forces in the IT organization.
