Job summary

Meyvaert is seeking a Business Application Manager to oversee CRM, ERP, and reporting platforms, ensuring they align with business goals and operate reliably.

You will manage upgrades (CRM to Dynamics 365 Sales, ERP to Business Central) and collaborate with IT and business users across sites, including international locations. Strong BPM and Microsoft stack experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar BAM or IT applications role.
• Fluent English; very good Dutch and French (spoken and written).
• Proven BPM experience and track record with CRM/ERP projects, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and upgrade CRM, ERP, and cloud-based reporting apps.
• Lead business software upgrade projects: CRM to Dynamics 365 Sales; ERP to Dynamics 365 Business Central; reporting to Azure Data Lake/Power BI.
• Ensure strategic alignment of software with business goals, availability, and security.
• Create and enforce standards, security protocols, data integrity checks, and user documentation.
• Manage vendors and budget for licenses and support; maintain SAM lists.

Business Application Manager - CRM, ERP

As a Business Application Manager (BAM), you will oversee the lifecycle of corporate software—including CRM, ERP, and specialized tools—to ensure they align with business goals, run reliably, and remain secure. You will bridge the gap between IT and business users, managing vendor relationships, application upgrades, user access, and training.

• Design, configure, maintain, and upgrade our business software applications in the fields of CRM, ERP and Business Reporting (cloud based).
• Act as a key stakeholder in our business software upgrade projects:
  • Legacy CRM applications to Dynamics 365 Sales
  • Legacy ERP applications to Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Legacy Business Reporting applications to Microsoft Azure Data Lake and Microsoft Power BI.
• Strategic Alignment: Work with stakeholders and external partners to ensure that our stack of business software enhances business efficiency.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support, analyse system malfunctions, and ensuring high availability and performance.
• Governance & Documentation:
  • Create and enforce application standards, security protocols, data integrity checks, and user documentation.
  • Design, maintain and document our core business processes in collaboration with the different business entities and ensure that the business software support these processes.
• Vendor Management : Manage vendors relationship, and follow-up the budget for software licenses and support.
• Software Asset Management (SAM): Build and maintain the comprehensive list of business application software and its related items (users, roles, licenses, etc.).

Profile

Professional profile & background

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer science or equivalent through experience.
• You have 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
• You are able to understand and analyse business requests, provide conceptual solutions and turn them into reliable, scalable solutions for all users.
• You have proven experience in BPM (Business Process Modelling).
• You have proven relevant work experience(s) with some of the following technologies:
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents).
• Microsoft Cloud Technology (especially Azure).
• Microsoft SQL Server.
• CAD / CAM software.
• Product Configuration software / Configure Price Quote (CPQ).
• You have proven work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• You are fluent in English and have a very good professional knowledge of Dutch and French (spoken and written).
