Franchise Business Consultant - Los Angeles, CA

Join to apply for the Franchise Business Consultant - Los Angeles, CA role at Charleys Philly Steaks.

The Franchise Business Consultant is responsible for advising and assisting franchisees in all appropriate areas of their business. The Business Consultant will be assigned a territory consisting of approximately 50 restaurants. This position will work from home and travel extensively within the territory.

Accountabilities
  1. Achieves financial and operational results through oversight of operations programs and initiatives.
  2. Completes targeted restaurant visits and provides business consulting to Franchisees to drive success.
  3. Plans field time efficiently and utilizes all systems and tools for effective visits.
  4. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to launch and achieve results for operations programs and initiatives.
  5. Builds leadership skills and provides ongoing leadership to Franchise Owners.
  6. Launches new operational programs, food products, and promotional items aligned with marketing calendars.
  7. Ensures adherence to specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, and Food Safety procedures.
  8. Conducts operational evaluations and follow-ups.
  9. Encourages franchise participation in the Customer Experience program and uses data for coaching and recognition.
  10. Executes brand marketing plans.
  11. Reviews P&L reports regularly, leads analysis discussions, and supports action plan development.
  12. Formulates action plans with deadlines for improvement and compliance.
  13. Addresses customer complaints at the restaurant level and works with Franchise Owners to resolve critical issues promptly.
Position Requirements
  • Undergraduate/graduate degree with 5-7 years of restaurant/franchise operations experience.
  • Experience in quick service, multi-unit franchise operations, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and influence skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Financial acumen, analytical, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • Proven leadership and motivational abilities with Franchise Partners.
  • Flexible, organized, and results-driven with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
