Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks an Oracle CX Functional Architect to lead the CX domain, owning the backlog and coordinating between sales, operations, and IT. You will translate business needs into functional specifications, configure CX modules, and manage integrations and customizations with an emphasis on upgrade-safe extensibility.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, senior IC capabilities, and travel for meetings and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or similar degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years' experience with deep configuration expertise in Sales, Service, and CPQ modules.
• Strong experience in sales and service process knowledge: lead-to-opportunity, CPQ, field dispatch, case management, incentive compensation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work between business and IT.
• Ability to be a senior individual contributor with high ownership in a lean team.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlog for the CX domain and align with Sales and Operations stakeholders.
• Serve as primary functional and solution contact between business process owners and IT.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications through configuration and integrations.
• Review and approve material configuration changes to CX modules including CPQ pricing and product rules.
• Coordinate Oracle Fusion CX updates, testing, and adoption with cross-functional teams.

• Must be able to translate business requirements into functional specifications deliverable through configuration, workflow changes, or integrations while minimizing customization
• Must be able to provide domain input into IT planning cycles, backlog reviews, and prioritization
• Must be able to maintain a prioritized enhancement backlog for the CX domain, working with business stakeholders to sequence value and align with IT delivery capacity
• Must be able to approve and review material configuration changes to CX modules - CPQ pricing and product rules, Sales/Service configuration and custom objects, approval workflows, and integration mappings
• Must be able to manage the Oracle quarterly update cycle for the CX domain: review release notes, assess business impact, coordinate regression testing, and ensure clean adoption
• Mut be able to build and maintain Oracle Fusion CX extensions in Sales and Service - custom objects, fields, and layouts via Application Composer - favoring configured, upgrade-safe extensibility over custom code
• Must be able to perform quality reviews of the designs and deliverables of implementation partners
• Must have experience working with 3 rd party offshore vendors
• Must be able to mentor partners and other engineers as a senior individual contributor
• Oracle's Cloud CX certification is preferred (Sales or CPQ)
• Must have the aptitude to deepen architecture standards over time
• Must be able to do occasional travel for meetings and training sessions
• Must be driven and be a self-motivated individualMust be able to deal with business stakeholders and technical teams at various levels within an enterprise organizationMust be collaborative and pick up on new things quicklyMust have strong communication and collaboration skills

Job/Project Description: This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional enterprise environment to work as a an Oracle CX Functional Architect. The successful architecture professional will work with key business leaders as well as onshore and offshore technical teams to maintain and configure all Oracle Fusion CX modules. This role with own the backlog for this system and work closely with Sales and Operations teams as the key functional and technical contact in this area.
