Job summary

Emler Swim & Gym in Southlake is seeking a swim instructor who teaches life-saving water safety, leads weekly lessons, and builds positive relationships with students and parents. You’ll promote safety and a fun, engaging learning environment in and around the pool.

No prior teaching experience is required as paid training is provided. Schedule includes evenings and weekends, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team that values growth and community.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn proven swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Active, on-your-feet role including in-the-pool activity.
• Teaching classes for kids ages 6 months to 12 years.
