Job summary

Emler Swim & Gym in Allen, TX is seeking a friendly swim instructor to teach kids of all ages, build life-saving water safety skills, and create a fun, safe learning environment. You’ll work with a mentor, lead weekly lessons, and celebrate student milestones while keeping safety as a top priority.

No experience? Paid training available. Set evening/weekend shifts, opportunities for more hours, and a chance to grow into leadership roles as you gain confidence and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Getting your steps in in a dynamic, on-your-feet role.
• Teaching classes for kids from 6 months to 12 years.
