Job summary

Emler Swim and Gymnastic Schools in Texas is hiring a friendly Swim Instructor to teach kids water safety and swimming skills in a fun, safe environment. You’ll build lasting connections with families and mentor younger teammates.

Set evening and weekend shifts, receive paid training, and grow into leadership roles as you gain experience and certifications. No prior experience required—paid training starts day one.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn our swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool.
• Getting your steps in: active, on-your-feet role in and around the pool.
• Teaching classes for kids from 6 months to 12 years.
