Job summary

Emler Swim School in Southlake, TX is seeking a friendly swim instructor to teach weekly lessons and celebrate student milestones. You will work with a mentor to learn our proven instruction methods, build trust with students and parents, and keep safety at the forefront in and around the pool.

Whether you are new to teaching or bringing swim experience, paid training is provided, with set evening and weekend shifts ideal for students and part-timers.

Qualifications

• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus but not required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Training with an experienced mentor to learn swim instruction methods.
• Teaching weekly lessons and cheering on student milestones.
• Creating positive, trusting relationships with students and parents.
• Keeping safety as a top priority around the pool.
• Active role in class with on-your-feet participation.
• Teaching classes for kids aged 6 months to 12 years.
