Job summary

The Helen Brown Group LLC seeks a US-based Consultant to deliver high-quality prospect research and consulting for nonprofit clients. You will perform biographical, philanthropic, and financial research, produce due diligence reports, and support wealth screening analyses and data-driven projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered.
• Minimum of four years of full-time work as a prospect researcher at a nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, well-written, accurate, and thoroughly researched profiles and briefs using biographical, financial, and philanthropic data.
• Identify potential funding sources for client organizations using sound research strategies.
• Collaborate professionally with clients and colleagues, providing concierge-style service.
• Manage assignments independently, maintain records of work and hours, and meet deadlines with high accuracy.
• Stay current on prospect development and fundraising industry trends and practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and prospect information and comply with privacy laws.
• Adhere to ethical standards set by Apra and AFP and GDPR requirements.
• Provide administrative and technical support as needed.
