Job summary

GovCIO is hiring an Integration Analyst/Engineer to implement and sustain the VIPPS solution for the VA OIT. The role blends analysis and technical duties across data migration, API/interface development, and testing in a remote US setting.

You will collaborate with data integration leads and developers to design enterprise-grade integrations, map sources to targets, and validate data throughout migration cycles, while ensuring security and compliance with all standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in systems integration, data migration, or API/ interface development
• Strong data and systems analysis skills
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL, JSON/XML, and OpenAPI/Swagger
• familiarity with enterprise integration concepts and data standards

Responsibilities

• Support VIPPS integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment
• Collaborate with Data Integration Lead, API/Integration Developers, and SMEs
• Perform data migration activities including profiling, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and testing
• Develop source-to-target data mappings and business rule adherence
• Assist with integration engineering and troubleshooting as needed
• Contribute to API testing and automation efforts
• Document integration processes and technical specifications
• Ensure activities meet security and compliance requirements
• Drive continuous improvement of integration processes and tools
• Support legacy to modern platform migrations
