Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to advance CAHPS and HOS analytics for the Medicare Advantage Stars program. You will develop predictive models, build scalable pipelines, and translate insights for strategic stakeholders, balancing regulatory alignment with innovative machine learning approaches.

The role requires a PhD in a quantitative field and 2+ years in predictive modelling, with strong Python/SQL skills, ML methods, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of predictive modeling experience.
• Experience with CAHPS and HOS modelling.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL; strong communication.
• Experience with ML methods including deep learning and NLP/LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders to define analytical solutions.
• Build segmentation models to tailor care experiences.
• Develop end-to-end data science solutions and pipelines.
• Version, test, and deploy models with Git and CI/CD.
• Support Stars metric decisions and CMS guidance.
