Job summary

Law Firms is seeking an experienced Consumer Protection Attorney to join our plaintiff-side litigation practice and build an in-house mass arbitration division. This remote role supports California or nationwide eligibility with California bar status preferred.

You will handle complex consumer protection and privacy matters, develop strategies for individual, class action, and mass arbitration, and contribute to expanding the firm's consumer protection and privacy litigation practice.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and case management skills.
• Experience litigating consumer privacy violations or mass arbitration; class-action experience is a plus.

About the Opportunity:

Our clients are seeking an experienced Consumer Protection Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side litigation practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who wants to start an in-house mass arbitration division for the firm. We're looking for someone with experience in California privacy laws, consumer protection litigation, or mass arbitration.

This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, handle complex litigation matters, and help build and expand a growing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle consumer protection, privacy law, and mass arbitration matters from inception through resolution.


• Research and apply relevant federal and state consumer protection and privacy laws.


• Develop and execute litigation strategies for individual, class action, and mass arbitration matters.


• Handle cases involving consumer privacy violations, unlawful business practices, and statutory violations. (CCPA, CPR, CIPA)


• Contribute to the development and expansion of the firm's consumer protection and privacy litigation practice.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.


• Active membership in the California State Bar.


• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and case management skills.


• Experience litigating cases related to consumer privacy violations or proven relevant mass arbitration experience. Experience with relevant class-action experience may also be considered.


• Ability to independently manage cases and develop effective litigation strategies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
