Job summary

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for a full-time Remote Chat Support Agent. You will be the friendly voice behind live chat, helping customers solve problems quickly and leaving conversations with a better impression of the brand.

There is full training and room to grow into senior roles. Work from home in a fast-paced but supportive virtual team, handling several chats, using the knowledge base, and escalating complex issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience preferred, but motivated entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Excellent written communication skills with strong spelling and grammar.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort learning new software, chat platforms, and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via live chat in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage multiple chat conversations at the same time while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot product, account, and order issues using the knowledge base and internal tools.
• Document each customer interaction accurately in the CRM or ticketing system.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate team with clear notes.
• Follow company policies and scripts while adapting tone to each customer's needs.
• Meet or exceed targets for response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify recurring customer issues and share feedback with the support team.
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and quality coaching.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic attitude in every customer interaction.
