Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the medical unit on night shifts. Under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, you will apply the nursing process, perform assessments, and contribute to care plans for a patient population.

We require KY BON RN license or compact state, BLS, and a graduation from an accredited RN program. Six months' experience is preferred. Our team values competence, excellence, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as RN in Kentucky or a compact state.
• BLS certification maintained.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Six months’ recent nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the designated Charge Nurse, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
• BLS certification maintained.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse preferred but not required
