Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY is seeking a Fulltime PACU Registered Nurse for day shifts. You will administer the nursing process, support assessments and care planning, and participate in evaluating patient care under the Unit Coordinator and Perioperative Services leadership.

Requirements include Kentucky RN license or compact state license, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred and at least six months’ pediatric or adult nursing

Qualificações

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky or a compact state.
• BLS certification maintained.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of six months’ recent experience as a professional nurse preferred.

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the PACU Unit Coordinator and the Director of Perioperative Services, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
• BLS certification maintained.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse preferred

Screening Requirements:

• Drug Screen
• Tuberculosis Test
• Physical Exam
• Respirator Fit
