Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the on-site Perioperative/General Nursing team. The ideal candidate holds Kentucky RN licensure (or compact state) and has a nursing degree from an accredited program.

BSN is preferred, with a minimum six months of recent nursing experience strongly favored. Under supervision of unit leadership, you will participate in assessment, care planning, and ongoing evaluation of patient care, ensuring quality

Job Description:

Under the direct supervision of the OR Unit Coordinator and the Director of Perioperative Services, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Kentucky, Registered Nurse
  Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse preferred
