Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver an outstanding service experience.
• Assist with membership questions, updates, and applications.
• Direct vehicles into the wash tunnel and monitor safety.
• Maintain clean vacuum areas, tunnels, parking lots, and amenities.
• Monitor chemical levels, refill supplies, and report issues.
• Open/close procedures, operate POS, complete checklists, daily reports.
• Support coworkers and management to keep the location running safely.
• Maintain a professional attitude and uphold company policies.

Waves Express Car Wash - voted Best of South Carolina and Best of the Upstate - is looking for dependable, energetic Membership Support Specialists (MSS) to join our team!

As a Membership Support Specialist, you will play an important role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while supporting our sales team and daily car wash operations.

What You'll Do

• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Welcome customers, answer questions, assist with concerns, and help create a positive experience with every visit.
• Support Our Sales Team: Assist customers with membership questions, account updates, and membership applications while helping our sales team provide excellent service.
• Guide Vehicles Safely: Direct vehicles into the wash tunnel, watch for potential vehicle concerns, and follow all safety procedures.
• Keep the Site Looking Great: Maintain clean vacuum areas, tunnels, parking lots, windows, and customer amenities.
• Assist with Equipment Maintenance: Monitor chemical levels, refill supplies, perform routine preventative maintenance, and report equipment issues.
• Support Daily Operations: Help with opening and closing procedures, operate the point-of-sale system, complete assigned checklists, and assist with daily reporting.
• Work as a Team: Support your coworkers and management team wherever needed to keep the location operating safely and efficiently.
• Take Pride in Your Work: Maintain a professional attitude, follow company policies, and help deliver the WOW factor our customers expect.

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
• Friendly, professional communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to stay active throughout the day and perform hands-on cleaning and maintenance tasks.
