Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital is seeking a PRN - Perinatal Services - Registered Nurse to join our on-site team in Murray, KY. The role involves applying the nursing process, contributing to assessments and care plans, and supporting care for gynecologic, maternal and newborn patients.

Required RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and graduation from an accredited RN program. Six months' nursing experience is preferred but not required; drug screen and TB test are part of screening

Qualifications

Job Description:

Under the direction of the O.B. nurse director and/or designated charge nurse demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population.Provides quality nursing care for gynecological, maternal and newborn patients. Cooperates with other professional staff to provide services that reflect the caring philosophy of the hospital.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications maintained.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse preferred but not required
