Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead delivery of platforms for diversified clients. You will guide teams across planning, execution, and client sessions with travel as needed. Role emphasizes quality, risk management, and API/microservice design in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate blends technical depth with business acumen, delivering scalable software and platforms while mentoring engineers and engaging external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with Data Visualization tools (D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts).
• Experience with dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with TDD / unit testing.
• Experience in complex codebases and frontend best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to complex problems and establish procedures.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members for task completion.
