Job summary

BlueChew, a fast-growing consumer technology firm, seeks a Fullstack Engineer to bridge a patient’s medical consultation and prescription delivery. You’ll build features across pharmacy operations, ecommerce, and telemedicine from our Elmhurst, IL office.

Expect to work on scalable code with TypeScript, Python, and Ruby, uphold HIPAA-compliant security, and guide junior engineers through code reviews and architecture decisions. This role is full-time and on site in Elmhurst, IL.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in modern languages such as TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build key features for pharmacy operations, ecommerce, and telemedicine.
• Produce high quality code for peer review.
• Provide technical guidance for junior engineers.
• Code review for peers.
