Job summary

BlueChew in Austin, TX is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to build features for pharmacy, ecommerce, and telemedicine platforms. You will work on high-availability systems that meet HIPAA requirements and deliver a polished user experience for a direct-to-consumer brand.

You will write high-quality code, guide junior engineers, review peers, and contribute to a scalable technology stack including TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Angular, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Math, Science, Engineering, Economics, or other highly quantitative disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• Solid grasp of computer science foundations, mainly algorithms and data structures.
• Expertise in one or more modern programming languages. Examples are TypeScript, Javascript, Python, Go, C++, Java, etc

Responsibilities

• Architect and build key features for major business areas such as pharmacy operations, ecommerce, and telemedicine.
• Produce high quality code for peer review
• Provide technical guidance for junior engineers
• Code review for peers
