Job summary

Elliptic in Washington, DC seeks an engineer for the Collection Engineering team to build tools powering its intelligence platform used by regulators and banks to fight crypto crime. You will design services deployed on Kubernetes, collaborate with analysts, and advance AI-powered data collection, classification, and storage pipelines end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TypeScript with hands-on React and Nest.js.
• Familiarity with Postgres and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform and Datadog.
• AI fluency: using AI-assisted tooling in production.
• Track record of shipping production software in a commercial engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software tools to improve and enhance our intelligence collection and analysis efforts.
• Collaborate with analysts and researchers to understand processes and automate them with AI where appropriate.
• Develop software to analyse cryptocurrency usage behaviours and trends.
• Implement observability mechanisms and run related business processes to resolve issues.
