Job summary

Elliptic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and ship data platforms powering blockchain analytics. You’ll own significant portions of data pipelines, scale global workloads, and shape technical direction with cross-functional teams.

You will work across batch and streaming data, applying AI-enabled tooling and cloud-native approaches to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support risk analytics for the crypto ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Scala and FP.
• Design, build, and maintain distributed data systems in a cloud environment.
• Experience with big data frameworks (Spark/Databricks).
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with data modelling and workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Write, ship, and maintain production code as a hands-on engineer.
• Architect, design, and implement large-scale distributed data systems and pipelines.
• Contribute to technical decision-making across batch and streaming data solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and analysts to build customer-focused products.
• Explore and integrate new technologies to optimise performance and scalability.
