Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Experience leading warehouse teams and driving safety programs.
  • Forklift, packing and measuring experience.
  • Knowledge of metals handling, staging, processing, packaging and shipping preferred.
  • First aid and CPR training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet production and distribution objectives and deadlines within the established budget.
  • Teach, coach and demonstrate work activities for team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work; direct staff on priorities.
  • Ensure safety training and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain timely, effective communications with internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain records and perform administrative duties as required.
  • Report accidents or incidents within the designated facility and forward to the Operations Manager within 24 hours.
  • Monitor working conditions to ensure team safety and take corrective action as needed.
