Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services, Inc in Kyle, TX seeks a warehouse associate to move materials and finished products on the floor, operating a forklift and other equipment. You will load/unload trucks, pick, process and pack orders, and perform cycle counts with attention to safety and ISO/6S standards.

This role works on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery, with potential to train others and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 4 years of warehousing experience, preferably Metals industry.
• History of reliable attendance.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs for 100 feet.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Move and stock product, customer products, and supplies per inventory plan.
• Select and package products for customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks and verify correct items.
• Pick, process, and pack orders; cut orders on Kaltenbach saw as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and segregate defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions; support safety and 6S initiatives.

Job SummaryResponsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. May perform other general warehouse functions in support of operational requirements.
